Château de l’Aumérade

Château de l’Aumérade

A family legacy.

Welcome to Provence, where rolling vineyards and the scent of lavender and honey fill the air. This esteemed winery, with a rich history dating back generations, has been crafting exceptional wines in this picturesque region of southern France for over 100 years. Founded by Henri Fabre after World War I, who acquired two historic estates, Château de la Clapière and Château d’Aumérade, the winery has been passed down through four generations, with the current leadership of Clément and his sisters Delphine and Caroline. In 1955, Aumérade became one of Provence’s rare classified growths.

Today Château de l’Aumérade encompasses 300 hectares of vineyards and 80 hectares of Cru Classé. With a deep passion for winemaking, the siblings have driven the estate’s growth, showcasing its reputation for producing delicate rosés (80% of production) and elegant whites. The estate’s commercial development is expertly managed by Caroline Demey, and as one of the last historic and independent families in Provence, this 4th generation’s commitment to quality and tradition is a testament to their dedication to the industry and their family’s legacy.

Aumérade Style Côtes de Provence AOP

The Aumérade Style range is fun and convivial, celebrating the modern charm of Provence.

The estate also produces two second wines, Chateau de l’Aumérade and L’Origine, offering a blend of fruitiness and minerality for everyday drinking.

Château de l’Aumérade Sully White – Cru Classé

The clay-limestone soil and a unique microclimate allows vines to thrive. The vineyard is naturally ventilated, producing fine white wines.

The estate produces a white wine for the same four distinct ranges, each crafted solely from the Rolle grape variety.

In Provence, the Rolle grape shines with beauty. Its thick green-yellow skin ripens in the sun, releasing a sweet, slightly acidic aroma. The mistral wind whispers through the vines, imbuing the wine with the essence of the Mediterranean.
